Where were you born and raised?
A small farm town in Upstate New York- Sherburne.
What’s a short story around the biggest transition you’ve faced in life?
During college, following an injury during Marine Officer PLC Training and subsequent knee surgery, (summer of 1981) I failed to return to training the following summer and that transition was embarrassing for me as I failed to serve my country.
What’s the once piece of advice you’d give a younger you?
Learn how to communicate via voice comms using a telephone and do not hide behind e-mail and/or text communication. Also, hand written notes are a key to success.
Your Personal Why?
I am committed to serving the most valued resource in our country, our veterans and active duty military personnel, and I commit 162% of my volunteer time when I am away from my family and work.
How does your Why drive you to be a part of the THF Ecosystem?
Because THF is committed to helping Veterans at a critical juncture in their careers- their transition from uniform to the private sector.
Military Connection or Why do you respect Special Operators?
Because I am humbled to have been adopted into their family and fabric.
