Daniel Schroeder
Dan Schroeder served in the U.S. Navy for 33 years and retired in November 2021. He spent the majority of his career as a Navy SEAL. He entered the Navy in September 1988 and attended recruit training at RTC Orlando, Florida. He then attended Second Class Dive School in Coronado, California. After serving at several Dive Lockers on both coasts, he received orders and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition School (BUD/s), Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) training in 1994.
He deployed multiple times in support of combat operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa. His operational tours were conducted at Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) Teams Two, Four and Eight. He has served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor for a Joint Task Force in Iraq as well as the Special Operations Liaison and advisor to the Regional Command West in Herat, Afghanistan. His other command leadership tours include Command Master Chief for SEAL Team FOUR and Senior Enlisted Advisor for Special Operations Command Forward East Africa, Command Master Chief at Center for SEAL and SWCC, Senior Enlisted Leader for Director of Force Management and Development at SOCOM, Command Master Chief for Basic Training Command, and as the Command Master Chief for Naval Special Warfare Group TEN.
Dan is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy. He has a B.A. in Business Management and Leadership and a M.A. in Business Management from Webster University.
After retirement, Dan started working as a federal employee in support of Naval Special Warfare. Dan currently resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his wife Debra. They have five awesome children and three beautiful grandchildren.
