As a proud alumnus of The Honor Foundation, I can say with absolute certainty that this organization changed my life. When I began my military transition process, I was unsure of what direction to start walking and how I would know I was being successful. The Honor Foundation provided the roadmap and signage to make sure my journey was my own and that I planned with my “why” in mind. Mine is to deliver ambitious energy and navigate uncertainty with conviction to inspire confidence and success!
Through the guidance of my executive coach, Holly Teska, I was able to delve deep and uncover what truly motivates me. Her steady hand in a chaotic time was invaluable, and I cannot thank her enough for all that she did for me during my time at The Honor Foundation.
But it wasn’t just Holly who made a difference in my journey. The tribe of alumni that I formed bonds with beyond the classroom was just as important. These were individuals who understood my struggles and supported me every step of the way. We may have come from different corners of the SOF enterprise, but our shared experiences brought us together in a way that I never thought possible.
Thanks to The Honor Foundation, I found my “why” and discovered a newfound sense of purpose and direction in my life. I am forever grateful for this organization and the incredible people who make it possible. If you’re a SOF veteran struggling to find your place in the civilian world, I cannot recommend The Honor Foundation enough. It truly changed my life for the better, and I know it can do the same for you.
