Where were you born and raised?
Born and raised in LaCrosse, WI.
What’s a short story around the biggest transition you’ve faced in life?
Transition from service was a major life and family decision. Navigating the opportunities that were in front of me were eye opening experiences. Both in terms of what I thought I wanted and the path I chose which led to me becoming part of THF team.
What’s the one piece of advice you’d give a younger you?
Follow your plan and remember plans change, always be adaptable.
Your Personal Why?
Service to others. During my years of service the most fulfilling role was serving others. I continued to serve Special Operations after retirement and now will continue that service with The Honor Foundation.
How does your Why drive you to be a part of the THF Ecosystem?
My passion is serving others to navigate a successful transition from service finding fulfilling and meaningful work.
Military Connection or Why do you respect Special Operators?
I retired after 30 years of service, 21 of them in Special Forces.
