What’s a short story around the biggest transition you’ve faced in life?
Transitioning from the classroom to the workforce was one of the most significant changes in my life. After years of teaching and guiding young minds, stepping into the private sector felt like a leap into the unknown. I had to shift my mindset, embrace new challenges, and adapt to an entirely different set of expectations. Though it was daunting, this transition revealed my resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in dynamic environments. It’s been a journey of self-discovery and growth, and while the change was challenging at first, it opened the door to endless opportunities and a new sense of purpose. Now, I find myself eager to contribute in new ways, drawing on my past experiences to bring a fresh perspective to the work I do.
What’s the one piece of advice you’d give a younger you?
If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be: Don’t be afraid to start over until you find something you love. For years, I felt pressure to have everything figured out and stick to a set path, even when it no longer fit. But I’ve learned that growth comes from embracing change, taking risks, and staying open to reinvention. The detours often teach us the most about who we are and what truly excites us. Trust the process. Every step, even the missteps, leads you closer to a life filled with passion and purpose.
Your Personal Why?
I have always found fulfillment in helping others. It’s what drives me and gives my life purpose. My passion lies in making a meaningful impact, supporting those around me in their growth and success. The Honor Foundation represents the perfect opportunity for me to pursue this calling, as it aligns with my values and desire to serve. Through this journey, I hope to contribute, uplift, and empower others, ensuring that I leave a lasting, positive impact on the lives I touch.
How does your Why drive you to be a part of the THF Ecosystem?
My passion for helping others fuels my drive to be a part of The Honor Foundation (THF) ecosystem. THF provides a unique opportunity to support and empower those who have dedicated their lives to service, and I am eager to contribute to that mission. By surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to growth, transition, and impact, I can further develop my ability to serve and uplift others. Being part of this ecosystem allows me to turn my passion into meaningful action, ensuring that I make a lasting difference in the lives of those who have given so much.
Military Connection or Why do you respect Special Operators?
I deeply respect Special Operators because they serve with unwavering dedication to protect the freedoms that so many take for granted. Their sacrifices, resilience, and selflessness embody the highest ideals of service. These elite warriors operate in the shadows, often without recognition, yet their impact is felt across the nation and beyond. Their commitment to duty, their relentless pursuit of excellence, and their willingness to put others before themselves inspire me. It is because of their courage and sacrifice that we enjoy the liberties and opportunities that define our way of life.
Favorite THF Value, and why?
The core value of Practice Artistry resonates deeply with me because it reflects the pursuit of excellence in everything we do. To me, true artistry isn’t just about skill. It’s about passion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to mastering one’s craft. Whether in service, leadership, or personal growth, I believe that striving to be the best version of ourselves not only elevates our own journey but also inspires those around us.
