The Honor Foundation is a life-changing program that gave me the clarity, confidence, and connections I needed to successfully transition from the military to the civilian world. The personalized coaching, invaluable classes, and unmatched camaraderie among the fellows set it apart as an extraordinary experience. Thanks to THF, I’m not just prepared for my next chapter, I’m excited and equipped to thrive in it.
The Honor Foundation took me from concerned with what I would do post-retirement to 100% confident in finding and keeping quality future employment. The knowledge and professionalism of the campus staff was incredible, as where the industry speakers brought in to teach. Strongly recommend this program to anyone finishing their military service!
This program was truly incredible! Prior to starting this program, my nerves were all over the place regarding interview skills, networking skills and translating the skills I’ve acquired in the military into civilian terms. I now feel confident in marketing myself and skills to any company or organization I’d like to work for.
The Tampa Honor Foundation (THF) Program has been a game changer in my approach to transitioning from the military. Before THF and even with 37 years in the Navy, I felt very unsure of how to plan for or even organize my focus for a career after transition. Now, thanks to the phenomenal efforts and love shown by Dan and Stephanie Snyder, Kathy Watson, Nancy Laine, Shiloh Smith and my Coach Steve Vigar, I feel good, really really good about retirement and transition. Now, with the tools from THF, I am excited about transition, have a much brighter outlook about career opportunities, and finally feel that I have the robust network of trusted coaches and advisors that I have been hoping for. I have always seen myself as a Lion. Now, I am on the hunt for my life’s next great work!
The Honor Foundation has been an instrumental part of my transition journey, providing me with invaluable tools, mentorship, and a network of like-minded professionals. Their staff, alumni, and generous donors have created a program that truly empowers veterans to find purpose and thrive in their next chapter. I am deeply grateful for this transformative experience.

The growth and success of an organization does not happen overnight, nor does it happen alone. It happens organically through hard work, dedication, passion, and with the encouragement of others. As many say, it “takes a village.”For the past decade, The Honor Foundation has had the support of our Founding Partner, the @navysealfoundation (NSF), who has stood by our side year after year and championed our cause. They share the vision, believe in our mission, and provide the means to help us change the lives of transitioning members of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community as they leave active duty service. So as we wrap up 2024 with more impact than we have in the past — generating more awareness within the Special Operations Forces Enterprise, establishing countless connections beyond the campus classrooms and changing the lives of hundreds of individuals and their families just this year — we cannot thank Robin King and the Navy SEAL Foundation enough for their support. Their continuous commitment to our program and the NSW community have allowed us to live out our mission day after day and, for that, we are beyond grateful.
Each year, The Honor Foundation is able to serve more and more men and women of the Special Operations Forces community through the generosity and commitment of our partners such as the Wounded Warrior Project. For several years, THF has had the honor of calling @wwp a valued partner — working together to impact more military veterans transitioning to their next adventure after active duty service. We look forward to impacting more lives in 2025 with the support of WWP. #furthertogether
